About Us
The dream
Rusty River Ranch started out as a personal atempt at the fulfilment of a lifelong dream of working with horses, aimed at creating the opportunity for a family unit to grow closer to each other by sharing a common love and respect for horses.
This dream quickly grew after realising the need for an activity that could benefit the community and spice up the mundane rhythm of small-town living.
The vision of this endeavour is to create a place where people can connect, not only to horses, but to themselves, as well as other people. A place for children of all ages to achieve their dreams. A place for family to find something to bring them together. A place for every adult’s inner child to find recognition and a place to give horses and people a second chance.
This is us
At Rusty River Ranch we all share a special love for horses, and we believe that horses have a much deeper and inexplicable connection with people. By acknowledging and respecting this bond, we strive to create a healthy, natural, and safe environment where horses and people can experience and explore this bond.
Some of the methods we embrace includes Natural Horsemanship and Barefoot Trimming to enhance the physical and psychological health of our horses. We also afford them as much time as possible to roam free and interact with other horses under the careful supervision of our 24/7 onsite caretakers.
